Color Assessment
Dear Keepers,
As most avid crystal meditation practitioners will tell you, color can have a real effect on people. From mood to triggers, it’s a documented reality. There’s a deeper science to it too and that is that’s it’s also extremely personal. All the color psychology or Feng Shui elemental references won’t compare much to your own personal review of it. So for this closet cleaning exercise you can skip the research and consult with your beautiful self. (This does not apply to standard work clothes as a man has a uniform and a woman must put more thought and design into hers and her effect)
To Start:
We will do this process by elimination. Think of color that you don’t really like or usually vibe with. Make a list.
Here’s mine. Which also includes colors I like but does not compliment me in the fashion department, such as mustard.
Color List
Mid-tone blues
Some light blues
Teal
Orange brown/burnt orange
Red coral (Star sign side note: this actual coral animal skeleton is not recommended by for a Libra zodiac sign to keep around)
Faded red
Orange red
Mustard yellow
Certain toned pinks
Jungle green
Next:
Go through your clothes and spot any that carry the colors you listed in a design- anything you might have been ignoring. And weigh out the advantages of that material or how it serves you verses your repellent to that color. That comfortable and elegantly shaped tank top with the odd patterns and spouts of color you never really admired...Is it really worth it?
Finish:
